On Saturday, May 4, the NMS PTO will be sponsoring its Electronics Recycling Event from 9AM - 12 Noon @ Nippersink Middle School.  Bring your used, outdated, working or non-working household electronics to NMS for safe disposal by Elgin Recycling. 

Accepted items include: cell phones, printer cartridges, gaming systems, TV's and monitors less than 32" (no cracked or broken screens)*, computers, notebooks, I-pads, extension cords, VCRs and DVD players, fax machines, digital cameras and camcorders, small kitchen appliances; almost anything that is battery powered or has an electrical cord attached. 

Reminder: As of 01/01/12, it is illegal to dispose of electronic waste with your regular garbage collection.

*=Because of additional fees charged for the disposal of televisions and monitors, we are suggesting a $5 donation for the disposal of these items.
