Important Dates to Remember

Online registration for all schools starts July 9th.

What do I need to know before proceeding? Online registration is the required method to register all current students attending Nippersink District 2 for the 2019-20 school year. Before completing online registration be sure to check the following:

• You MUST be registering an existing student! If you are registering a new student to the area, you will need to Click on the New to District Enrollment.
• You do NOT have to wait for approval to be completed if you are applying for Free/Reduced Lunch, but be advised that fees will still show up until all those are processed. Please contact the school if you have questions.
• We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover (both credit and debit) payments online when you pay your fees. If you wish to pay fees by check or cash, you must stop by the school's offices prior to school start

That’s it! Online registration is easy and is available 24 hours a day in July. All you need is your Skyward Username and Password. If you did not have your Skyward username or password, please click the "Forgot your Login/Password?" link on the Skyward login screen. If that does not work email technology@nsd2.com.

System requirements? Skyward Family Access is 100% web-based most operating systems and browsers are supported on computers or smartphones. Skyward also makes use of pop-ups; be sure to authorize pop-ups from Skyward.com

Do I have to complete the whole process in one sitting? No! What is great about online registration is that you can come back at any time and pick up where you left off.

I have more than one child, do I have to complete the registration process for each child separately? Yes! At the top of the Skyward Family Access page is a drop down for each child, please complete all steps for each child that will be in attendance.

What happens after I finish the online registration process? The following is a quick checklist of what will happen after online registration is completed:

• Your school will receive a confirmation email after you complete the final step and click submit
• Please submit the records request form, so the student's records from their previous school can be obtained. 
• If your child takes prescription medications, you must fill out and drop off the Request for Administration of Medication form.

I did not see an option to order yearbooks or school pictures? School picture order forms will be sent home with your children at a later time and a Skylert phone message will be sent at the same time to give you a heads up. Yearbook order forms will come at a later time as well, so be sure to watch the school websites for more information.  

What about the extras for my middle school student, like gym uniforms and athletic fees? During step 10 you will simply hit the Add Charge button to add other fees. You can reference the guide for more information.

I need a Free/Reduced Lunch Form, where can I get it? You can find the form for the upcoming school year here, but it will not be available until 4 weeks prior to the start of school. Please keep in mind that you must wait for the approval process to be completed before you will know if you qualify.

My child needs a physical, what forms will I need to take to my doctor? We have two forms for students, one for regular students physicals and one for sports. Please look at registration forms:

How do I get started? Follow this link to Skyward Family Access, login and choose the Online Registration option button that appears immediately after logging in. Make sure you follow each step one at a time and finish them completely before moving on to the next step.
